Fourth Annual Long Island Wine Week Kicks-Off
With Taste On The Beach Artisan Wine & Food Fest
On Stehli & Ransom Beaches In Bayville New York

The 2021 Long Island Wine Week will take place starting Sunday September 19th with Taste On The Beach and will run through Sunday September 26th. 

Spend the afternoon at one of the most picturesque beach fronts on Long Island's storied Gold Coast as you indulge your senses during this years fabulous Taste On The Beach Wine & Artisan Food Festival. 

Your taste buds will enjoy some of our region's best wines and artisan foods with the serene waterfront as your backdrop and live jazz as your soundtrack.

Experience curated food samplings direct from some of the most celebrated artisans themselves. If you love what you’ve tasted, many will have full-sized offerings to purchase creating an ideal chance to try before you buy.

The magnificent sunset will provide the grande finale for an event that will surely be the crowning touch to the end of summer for wine lovers and foodies alike.


In addition to the wide array of events that are scheduled during the Third Annual Long Island Wine Week from September 20th through September 27th you may also like to take this opportunity to get adventurous and explore the many other experiences wine country offers.

Maybe you would like to stop off and try some of the fabulous wine infused chocolates available only at North Fork Chocolate Company.  Perhaps you would like to take in the wonderful little art gallery at Sherwood House Vineyards or visit the winasaur at Coffee Pot Cellars and then enjoy an incredibly flaky old-world  pizza pie at Diliberto Winery.

THIS YEARS 2020 LONG ISLAND WINE WEEK

We would be hard pressed to find a restaurateur that has as many Long Island wines on their restaurant wine lists as Chef Tom Schaudel.  Not to mention, to find such a celebrated chef and restaurateur with as much passion about Long Island wines. You see, Tom has been quite the advocate for our local wine region. Most recently, we dubbed him Long Island wines biggest cheerleader.  That sentiment is visible in his wine list that starts off with an introduction about local wine where he proclaims "I love, love, love , Long Island wine."  That's not just lip service, the wine list is as informative as it is thorough.

Tom tells the story, "As winemakers from other parts of the world flocked here to see what was happening, information was shared, knowledge was gained, the technology improved, and the wine evolved.  He makes the unabashed proclamation "We have world class wines being made right here in our own backyard."

Beef and pork are the basis for this Italian classic. You’ll learn the proper steps of searing, sweating, sautéing, and simmering to create a hearty tomato sauce. And it’s sauce, not gravy!!

Hand Cut Fresh Pasta

Mix, Kneed, Rest, Roll, Cut, Chop, Dice, Crisp, Sautee, Simmer, Season, Boil, Toss. Eat.
Make your own semolina pasta dough from scratch, roll out with a hand crank pasta machine, and cut it into wide noodles that will grab any sauce.

You’ll prepare the shrooms, Italian bacon and any other ingredients the chef may have sourced at the market-some tomatoes for color, some peppers for bite, some fresh herbs for aromatics, some garlic for garlic’s sake. Then you’ll put it all together and enjoy!

All classes include wine tastings supplied by wineUdesign directly from their inventory, specially paired by the vintner. Sometimes right out of the barrel.
